Health care system and current health situation of Mongolia

Abstract

|
|
This study has attempted to analyze the health care system of Mongolia and its current health situations. The Mongolian health system is in the transitional stage from the socialistic provision of health care to the capitalistic mode. The Mongolian government has introduced its health insurance system early this year for meeting the needed financial resources. However, difficulties have occurred in raising sufficient fund and meeting health care needs of general populace. Various health indications shows that Mongolia is the one of the most under-developed countries in the world.
